Welcome To Piper-Lamb.com.
Piper Lamb is an American composer and recording artist from Hawaii, currently living in Tokyo. He has been writing and recording music for 20 years… OK, off and on for 20 years, but being very human, consistency does not make up a large part of his character. However, he does periodically come up for air, releasing a new song or video, and even picking up an award here or there.
Please have a listen to some of his music just over there –> ——-> —————–> —————————> Does not work on tablets (it’s flash)…sorry! Please visit the other links on the right to listen. For the rest of you, you can actually start the first song, open a new tab or window, then go and look at stuff all around the web (like Piper’s other pages – links at the bottom) while listening to the strange sounds of Piper Lamb. (^_-)
- The first few songs (“Like Some Dreams”, “Higher Place”, etc) are pop/rock tunes. ”Fall Into Place” and “Step Back” (recently featured on Filipino radio of all places) are from the concept album “Between a Boy and a Girl” and were written for a Japanese/English book that was released in Japan in 2008.
- “Enough” was written an experimental electronic protest to Bush and Cheney’s Iraq war and is the reason for the award mentioned above. There are no instruments, only sounds you find in the world around you. For first time listeners, try Enough Part 4 – War. Then, if so inclined, peruse the first 3 parts.
- And Finally… PIper’s whacky Kids music! So far, Halloween and Christmas have been assaulted and of course, more holidays will suffer the same humiliation in a short time.
Also, please find Piper Lamb on Facebook, Reverbnation, and many other places around the web.
More and more coming (inconsistently) soon.
With love,
